Brian C. Mulhall founded Mulhall Business Law in 2016 and as an entrepreneur, he personally understands his clients’ goals and concerns. As Mulhall Business Law has grown over the years, the company represents numerous privately-owned and mid-sized businesses as they successfully navigate the complexities of initial growth (startups & acquisitions), through day-to-day management (compliance & commercial contracts), unforeseen disputes (mediation, arbitration & litigation), and eventual sale or legacy planning (business sales, succession, and family legacy planning). Brian is also adept at navigating real estate transactions that enable his clients’ success, including commercial purchases and sales, SBA financing, construction, Ohio lien laws, 1031 exchanges, development, leasing, and property management.

Brian’s wealth of knowledge is born from his years of experience at the highest levels of big law, corporate legal, and big law, which he brings to his clients with a practical, affordable, and results-driven approach. Known for his strategic mindset and straightforward counsel, Brian is committed to simplifying legal challenges, providing clear guidance, and helping clients make confident, informed decisions that drive long-term success.

Apart from his legal work, Brian is very active in supporting non-profits and philanthropy. He is President and Chairman of the Humble Heart-Gentle Soul Foundation and works closely to support local nonprofits, including Beat the Streets Cleveland, Catholic Charities and other causes supporting those most in need.

A Cleveland native and U.S. Navy veteran, Brian’s legal background includes service with the U.S. Department of Justice, Jones Day, and General Electric Company, as well as teaching roles at Case Western Reserve University and Cleveland State University. He lives in Brecksville, Ohio with his wife and three children. In his spare time, you can often find Brian cheering on his alma-mater Lake Catholic High School, where he continues to volunteer as an assistant wrestling coach.
